There are so many options for engagement shoots locations in Colorado. With a lot of my couples hiring me to shoot destination weddings as well as local Colorado weddings, sometimes traveling to the mountains isn’t an option. This is where finding locations in Denver are so important. For Sofie and Jackson they wanted elegant but playful shots for their engagement shoot. We chose this stunning downtown Denver courthouse location near Union Station for their engagement shoot. The location is gorgeous with clean lines, elegant columns, and that iconic stone staircase that feels so cinematic.
Sofie wore a beautiful satin strapless white dress and it paired so well with our Denver courthouse engagement shoot. The architecture at the courthouse is gorgeous with marble and huge Roman pillars that make for such an elegant backdrop. The Byron White Courthouse will always be a beautiful spot, but I love going to a second spot and luckily theres a few options after this spot. Some couples want to wander downtown, which can be so fun. We grab drinks and we just wander wherever!
Our second location in Denver ended up being a rooftop nearby! We crossed the street and headed towards the sunset on the top floor of a parking garage. The last of the shots ended up being playing, fun and they felt so natural in front of the camera. I am already so excited to capture their wedding in the fall.
For more engagement shoots be sure to check out Chloe and Johnathan’s Engagement Shoot at a Bar Downtown as well as another couples shoot at Rampart Reservoir.
