Sometimes my couples come to me with such a clear vision of what they want with they want for their engagement shoot and sometimes they give me free rein. Both are so fun to be apart of! When Chloe reached out to me she wanted polished black and white editorial engagement shoot. We absolutely crushed their engagement shoot in a studio in Denver, Colorado and ended up at the coolest bar and hotel.

Studio Black and White Editorial Engagement Shoot

Chloe and Wally came in tow with their pup, Goose! They rented a studio in Denver and had a blast creating playful, yet beautiful photos that she could hang on her walls. Which is exactly what Chloe was hoping for ( and did!!) Their all white outfits were so chic paired with the edits of black and white. I did sneak in a few color edits because it just felt right.

Next spot at Wildflower LoHi in Denver, Colorado

After we finished taking their engagements at the studio we headed to the coolest bar and hotel in LoHi, a little area of Denver. “Wildflower is a restaurant that highlights seasonal, locally-sourced shared plates. With a café featuring Queen City Coffee and specialty lattes, and a stunning bar and dinning room for dinner, this a great local spot for all.” Chloe reached out to the owner prior to our shoot ( update: they now require a stay and notice to photograph any sort of engagements or photoshoots in their space. This is to ensure that other guests are having a great experience since this is a hotel as well.)

Wildflower serves the best drinks and creates work of at with their menu. It would make for the cutest reception dinner for an intimate wedding. I had the best time photographing this Denve engagement shoot with Chloe and Wally.
