Sabrina and Oleg married along the Amalfi Coast with a handful of their closest friends and family. The colors of Sabrina’s custom dress were similar to the colors of the iconic Positano coastline and the rest of the day was just as beautifully thought-out. I’m basically on repeat at this point every time I post photos of these two on IG, but I have so much to share —— enjoy this breathtaking Amalfi Coast wedding.

A romantic pre-wedding session the day before

I always say that pre-wedding sessions are a must if you’re having a destination, simply because you’re going to want to explore every bit of the place you’re visiting – especially if it’s the Amalfi Coast. So I got to explore Positano with Sabrina + Oleg the day before their wedding, driving around the coast in the most adorable vintage Fiat and enjoying the unbelievable views (with an unbelievably gorgeous couple). An intimate celebration on the southern coast of Italy

These two kept their special day very intimate, inviting just a handful of their closest friends and family members. I loved that they opted for such a small celebration, because it allowed them to host their loved ones at the most beautiful private villa on the coast rather than having to find a larger venue space to book out. The villa atmosphere was ideal for the intimate celebration that Sabrina + Oleg wanted to create, where everybody who traveled to Positano to be with them could enjoy picturesque views of the coast, a cozy, luxurious setting, and spend quality time together the entire day.

The iconic colors of the Amalfi Coast – and Sabrina’s matching dress

One of my (many) favorite parts of the intentional, beautifully though-out wedding these two planned was the dress Sabrina wore for the big day. The colors of the Amalfi Coast just can’t be beat, so Sabrina custom-made her dress with the designer, pulling in colors of the Amalfi Coastline – cue my jaw dropping to the floor. The pale pink peering through the layers of her dress paired seamlessly with the soft color palette of the wedding filled with the most romantic blush, pink, & cream tones.

Private vows + a small ceremony with just family

Before their ceremony with family, Sabrina + Oleg took a few private moments to themselves to have a first look and exchange vows in front of the gorgeous villa – something I recommend to every couple who’d like to have some alone time before joining their loved ones. 

Their ceremony was held on the lawn of the villa, lined with lush green trees in front of the most stunning views of the ocean. As if the scenery itself wasn’t enough, their florist designed two breathtaking, freestanding floral arrangements to frame the ceremony – helping to create one of the most insane ceremony backdrops I’ve ever seen. Nothing will beat Sabrina + Oleg saying their vows in front of the ocean as a few of their closest friends & family watched.

After they said their vows once again for their ceremony, we left from the Praiano boat dock to see the sunset from a boat cruise of Positano – and I will never stop sharing these photos because it felt like we were in a dream. Sabrina is actually a wedding photographer and Oleg shoots film, so you know I had to do this creative couple justice with some dreamy black & whites out on the water!

A breathtaking Amalfi Coast wedding reception

They ended the day with the most fabulous reception back at the villa, sitting around a beautifully-decorated table with their loved ones. Watching them eat and toast under the string lights on a lawn overlooking the Amalfi Coast was absolutely magical, especially with such a romantic tablescape set with wicker placemats, color-coordinated decor, and draped with greenery + roses. Literally a scene pulled straight out of a romantic movie.

I wanted to link the private villa that Sabrina + Oleg hosted their wedding at, Villa Il Frantoio, in case you’re on the search for somewhere to host your elopement or intimate wedding in Praiano. I cannot recommend this villa enough and know that it was the most dreamy setting for this wedding – and for any event, really! The charming village of Vettica Maggiore is adorable to explore, and the picturesque views from the lawn are absolutely unbeatable.
