This Sunset Elopement at Cap Rock, in Joshua Tree National Park fulfilled all my desert elopement dreams.
I loved every part about working with Lauren and Luis. They completely trusted my style and vision and it was so much fun to get creative. From our first phone call everything just flowed and I couldn’t have asked for a better day with these two!
We started the day getting ready at the infamous Joshua Tree House Casita. This spot is in the most stunning, remote location in Joshua Tree, CA. This property is surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected land, and with sweeping desert views intensely starry night skies. This Air bnb was the perfect spot for Lauren & Luis to start their day.
Their elopement was intimate and non-traditional, which I loved and they only had six guests attend. Since their guest list was so small, they all hung out at the Casita and got ready before the elopement. This space had the most gorgeous natural light and was stunning throughout with amazing western details and decor. With the stunning desert landscape right in the backyard, we took bridal portraits, first look, and bridal party photos.
Lauren and Luis chose to share personal vows before their ceremony at the Joshua Tree House Casita. I am always an advocate for this if you don’t want to share them in front of others. They snuck away to the back of the airbnb property, surrounded by cactus and desert rocks to share their own vows and it was one of the most memorable parts of the day for me.
We then headed to Joshua Tree National Park for the elopement. The ceremony was held at Cap Rock that was inside the National Park. There is something so intimate and special about eloping and my couples never regret it. Lauren looked absolutely gorgeous in her Rue De Seine wedding dress, with the desert backdrop. She threw on her Lack of Colors hat, and a denim jacket over her gown for a few bridals and I loved the western look in this location.
