In the midst of planning for their larger wedding in Oregon; Emma and Skylan met up with a few of their close friends to host a simple Breckenridge wedding in the fall. Their cabin was actually in Alma, Colorado right before Breckenridge which is a nice little area to be on the outskirts of all the hustle and bustle Breckenridge can bring.

Fall Foliage at Its Peak For This Intimate Wedding Day

With the Aspen trees in prime color range, an airbnb cabin rental that housed a handful of their closest friends it was a stunning spot to exchange their vows before their *big* day. Breckenridge has no shortage of spots you can take advantage of for intimate vows. A few other ideas to exchange vows are:

Sapphire Overlook: A very easily found spot with parking, a quick hike out to the overlook and makes for beautiful photos. A lot of people frequent Sapphire Overlook so going on non peak times such as weekdays is best. You will also need reservations for Sapphire Point.

Boreas Pass: Another beautiful spot for vows! You will find plenty of people here as well as it’s a known spot for tourists. Many mountain bikers, photographers and hikers frequent this area. Would still make for a stunning spot for vows.

However, Emma and Skylan chose to stay close to their airbnb rental. When you rent out a luxe cabin with your closest friends and are able to take a short walk to the back of the property and exchange vows, what more could you ask for in a fall simple wedding in Breckenridge? Emma and Skylan wrote their own vows and they were nothing short of giggles and a few tears. I am a sentimental girl through and through so the handwritten vows and personal stories really got me. After vows were said and kisses were kissed we took advantage of the perfect glowy fall sunset and took some really beautiful photos.
