Italian Inspired Intimate Wedding
Claire and Joe’s Airbnb San Diego Wedding was a dream. Their intimate wedding was bittersweet when it finally happened because I have been working with them for so long. Due to COVID, it was changed twice. What originally started as a wedding in Puglia, then Joshua Tree finally made its way to a simple and sweet Italian-inspired wedding in Escondido, California. Being that Claire and Joe already had their first wedding back home, this intimate gathering felt more relaxed. All the incredible vendors and this beautiful Airbnb made this day come to life.
Airbnb Wedding Venue in San Diego
Claire & Joe found the most beautiful Airbnb Wedding Venue in Escondido. Escondido is a little north of San Diego and was so fun to explore. This Airbnb brought their Italian wedding vision to life with the pool, cobblestone walls, and greenery. It overlooked Lake Hodges and had such a gorgeous view of the mountains. This venue really made the day feel special. They kept things small and intimate with their closest family and friends which made it easy when booking an Airbnb for a wedding venue.
San Diego Wedding Day with Claire & Joe
The day started getting ready at the Airbnb. Every single corner of this place was so beautiful and perfect for all the photo ops. They decided to do a first look and we were able to explore the property and capture their bride and groom portraits. Then, it was time for the ceremony. The ceremony space overlooked Lake Hodges and the mountains. They kept the ceremony decor simple with gold chairs and no decor because the views just speak for themselves. It was simple and minimalist which I loved and perfect for their intimate wedding celebration.
Each person from the bridal party walked down the aisle with their own glass of champagne. Claire and Joe said a toast with their closest friends and family and it was so special and unique.
In true Italian fashion, Claire and Joe served Aperol spritz’ at cocktail hour, took portraits on the roof with the Tuscan-inspired fireclay roof tiles, and of course had a champagne tower. We ended the night with some flash photos of these two eating cake outside their Airbnb.
