Outdoor Maternity Photos at Powell Butte Nature Park, Portland

These outdoor maternity photos in Portland Oregon with Emilie and Connor were extra special.

Emily and Connor are some of the first people I reached out to do a shoot for fun and to build my portfolio. Our first time shooting was at the Columbia River Gorge for their engagement photos. A few months later, I shot their wedding in downtown Portland. Their wedding was one of the first weddings I had shot and is still of my favorites. I had a beautiful downtown Portland wedding and I was so grateful to be a part of it.

When I found out Emilie and Connor were expecting a baby I could not be more excited for them. It is always so special growing with my couples and seeing them go through different phases of life.

Emilie knew she wanted outdoor maternity photos so we decided to go to the Powell Butte Nature Park in Portland. It was the most beautiful day with the fields that were filled with lavender and tall grass. It was the most perfect evening in Portland with Emily and Connor.

Emilie and Connor are always so sweet and such a pleasure to work with. They completely trust my vision every time which is the best feeling as a photographer. We don’t even chat about what to wear or where to shoot, they just show up and let me do my thing. This outdoor maternity shoot in Portland was no exception.

Emilie has always cheered me on and has invested in my family so it truly meant the world to me to document this time in their lives and take their maternity photos. I have no doubt in my mind that these two are going to make such beautiful, intentional, and loving parents. I cannot wait to meet baby Mann so soon!
