Having a Joshua Tree Wedding is undoubtedly going to be so special & unique. There is something so beautiful about the California Desert & Joshua Tree encapsulates it all. The gorgeous rock formations, fiery sunsets, and abundance of nature make Joshua Tree the perfect location for a wedding.

Why you should consider getting married in Joshua Tree

If you are looking for beautiful landscapes or adventurous locations, you should consider a Joshua Tree wedding! Whether you want an intimate airbnb elopement or an outdoor wedding under the stars, Joshua Tree has something for everyone. Joshua Tree has many different wedding venues which are each so unique. The sunsets in their desert can not be beat. Sneaking away for bride and groom portraits is always my favorite part of wedding days here.

With that being said, Joshua Tree can get very hot. If you are planning your wedding here, picking the right time of year is really important. Summer temperatures rise over 100 degrees daily so it’s best to avoid this time of year if possible. The best time of year to get married in Joshua Tree is in the spring or fall. Temperatures stay between 70-90 throughout the day so make sure you plan accordingly!

Hayley + Josh | Boho Wedding in the Desert

This is a long overdue wedding but Hayley and Josh’s hug at the end of their wedding has left an imprint on my heart and was one of my favorite memories from their wedding. I loved working with them for their intimate Wedding. They are going on celebrating almost 3 years of marriage by now but I had to get this day on the blog and share it.

Their wedding at Tumbleweed Sanctuary was so intimate and special. A collective group of family and friends came together and helped make their day beautiful. Hayley custom made her dress from Anomolie (an up and coming bridal shop local to California) and it was unreal on her! The whole weekend celebrating them was so fun. From the tacos to the incredible weather and sunset and then coming back the following morning for a day after shoot (will appear on the blog also, I swear..) Hayley surprised Josh with a song towards the end of the evening and there was not a dry eye in the room. It was the perfect way to end the night & a day I still am obsessed with years later!
