Brooke and Ryan were so wonderful to work with. Brooke is also a photographer, so it’s always an honor to be a part of other creatives’ day.

When we had our first phone call they were originally planning a low-key intimate wedding in Boston. About a week later, Brooke and Ryan decided to have their intimate wedding in Acadia National Park. I’ve never been to Maine before so I was immediately so excited to get to explore a new state with them!

The Intimate Elopement at Acadia National Park

I was so excited when Brooke and Ryan’s Acadia National Park elopement was coming up! It turned out to be quite an adventure getting to Maine for me. My flight was cancelled last minute. I ended up flying on the day of their wedding on a tiny little 12 person Cessna plane. I sat next to the Pilot an It was one of the wildest experiences and I loved it. The journey to their elopement is something I will remember forever.

I made it that morning and met them to get ready at Under Canvas Acadia. Brooke and Ryan got ready together in their yurt. It was the perfect location. Both of their families also stayed on site which tied the whole day together.

Private Cove Elopement Ceremony in Acadia National Park

When it was time for their intimate elopement ceremony, we hiked down to the most gorgeous spot! Their ceremony site was in a private cove on the beach with a beautiful set up by Abby Garden Floral. The guest benches were decorated with ground floral arrangements pulling textures from the Acadia landscape. They hiked out all the benches, with the custom blankets and Champagne to pop after the I do’s! It was amazing.

Romantic Dinner Party Reception at Under Canvas Acadia

After the Acadia National Park elopement, Ryan and Brooke had an intimate dinner party with their guests. It was the most gorgeous warm candlelight dinner with tinted glass bud vases and modern floral compotes beneath a canopy of textural foliage and blooms.

Abby Garden Floral created the most insane floral arrangements for their dinner table. It was a beautiful lush arch that pulled in all the elements that Maine has to offer. Dinner was provided by Under Canvas and they had the best mussels I have ever had. The whole dinner was so delicious! It was so intimate, special and the perfect way to end their night.

We did a day-after adventure session and got to explore more of Acadia National Park. This intimate Acadia National Park elopement was one for the books and a weekend ill remember forever!
