Seattle Pikes Place Market Session

This Seattle rooftop engagement session is one of my favorite locations to date. I have always loved getting to photograph couples in cities. The constant movement around me and so many different viewpoints always gets the creative juices flowing. Downtown Seattle is a perfect spot for different looks for engagement photos. I lived in the Pacific Northwest for almost four years. So, it’s always a fun experience to come back and explore different parts of Oregon and Washington. Sabrina and Oleg are from LA; she is also an incredible photographer herself! Photographing other photographers’ weddings is always such an honor. They happened to be in Seattle so we opted to shoot here and get to know each other. We explored all around Pikes Place Market and took the cutest engagement photos. Honestly, the best thing before we headed off to Italy for their wedding later in the fall. 

We met at Pikes Place and if you haven’t been there it’s almost a must stop place when voting Seattle, Washington. Luckily we showed up right around when the shops were closing so it wasn’t too crowded. My must stop when visiting near Pikes Place is grabbing a bouquet of fresh cut flowers and yogurt from Ellenos Yogurt, oh my gosh it is so good. 

Rooftop Engagement Session

Once we met at Pikes Place Market we walked around trying to avoid the crowds. Of course we went by the Seattle great wheel and then ventured over to this iconic rooftop. Downtown rooftop engagement photos are always so fun to me. You can make each shoot look so different and it’s like a blank canvas. Sabrina scouted out this amazing vantage point with a cool hotel sign in the background. Downtown Seattle has many rooftops to shoot engagement photos on, but this one has to be my favorite. One of my core memories from thee whole day was Oleg using my film camera to take a few photos of his bride. We took full advantage of our day and shot well into dusk.

I cannot wait until we’re all in Italy together for their intimate wedding on the Amalfi Coast.
