The Elopement in Acadia National Park, Maine

I was lucky enough to work with Brooke and Ryan for their Under Canvas Maine elopement in Acadia National Park. The weekend started off with a hike down to a private cove for the elopement ceremony on the beach. After the ceremony, Brooke and Ryan had a romantic dinner party reception with their family and friends at Under Canvas Acadia in Maine. It was the perfect intimate day!

Day After Wedding Session at Under Canvas Acadia, Maine

The beauty of eloping is the flexibility of doing what you want. You can make the entire weekend anything you want and dreamed of! Anytime I’m asked to come along for an elopement I always ask if they want to add on an adventure shoot. This just means we take an additional day to run around town, explore new places, get drinks somewhere fun, etc. I love shooting adventure sessions the day after the wedding! The couple is still on cloud nine and continuing to celebrate. This makes these day-after shoots so fun and special.

Brooke and Ryan knew they wanted to do an adventure session and take in all that Maine has to offer. The day after the elopement at Under Canvas Maine, we went to Acadia National and soaked in all the views. It was the first week of October when the leaves were at their prime and made everything so stunning. We started the shoot in their tent suite that morning. Then we made our way outside and had the best time exploring. Acadia National Park is absolutely gorgeous with views in every single corner. It was the perfect casual fun way to make their elopement weekend at Under Canvas Acadia Maine even more special!
