Shooting these La Jolla engagement photos was the perfect stop during my trip to California.

I was shooting a wedding out in Malibu and it worked out perfectly to meet Paige and Ryan to shoot their La Jolla engagement photos. When they reached out to me earlier this year I was so excited! They are having their wedding next summer in California and I cannot wait. I love being able to travel for weddings, especially in California!

Paige and Ryan wanted their sweet pup kip to be included in some of their photos. We started their La Jolla engagement session in this beautiful park area. They walked around the trees and snuggled their cute pup, and they turned out so cute! They both wore white shirts paired with denim. These outfits were the perfect way to match without being too cheesy.

I always love including all the animals in my sessions because they are part of the family too! After we finished shooting in the park, Paige’s mom and sister were nearby to scoop Kip up while we adventured out to the coast. It worked out perfectly!

Next, we made our way over to La Jolla beach and it was such a perfect day to shoot these La Jolla engagement photos. It was a bit overcast but it was great lighting for engagement photos on the beach! Paige changed into a gorgeous blue and white dress that complimented this location so beautifully.

We truly just had the best time, hiking up and down a hundred steps to actually get down to the ocean. We had the best views and the beach nearly to ourselves. Paige and Ryan were the sweetest couple and so easy to work with! I felt like I had known them for years! We just laughed and ran around listening to music and taking the best care-free photos.

Shooting these La Jolla Engagement Photos was the perfect way to spend my weekend in California! I cannot wait to come back and shoot their wedding next summer!
