Maternity photoshoot at the Paint Mines Interpretive Park in Colorado

The first time I met Kylie was at the wedding of one of her best friends. Kylie’s friend hired me as their wedding photographer for their beautiful wedding. Kylie was a bridesmaid and reached out to me to shoot their maternity photos after we had met. It was such a big compliment to be asked so quickly to shoot their maternity session once they found out they were pregnant! I was so excited for this evening in Colorado Springs with Kylie and Cody.

Kylie and Cody, we’re such a sweet couple. you can just tell how excited they were to have their first baby. They are waiting until birth to find out the gender of their little babe. I’ve always thought this was so cool and I’m just so excited for them!

We first met at Paint Mines Interpretive Park in Colorado. This location will always be one of my faves because it’s just gorgeous. The white rocks and beautiful landscape surrounding it are just so unique and breathtaking. I knew this would be the perfect spot to shoot their maternity photos.

When I saw Kylie’s first outfit I was so freaking excited. She wore this incredible Starry tulle maternity dress that she got from Etsy. She looked absolutely stunning! In addition, the dress matched the location perfectly and I will never get over that dress on her! Kylie rocked it!

Motherhood is beautiful and should be celebrated at any moment! I loved that she got this beautiful dress to have for maternity photos to look back on for years to come.

The sun was setting and they changed into their second outfit which was a little more casual. We found a nearby Field and ran around as the sun dipped down the horizon. It was the perfect ending to this maternity shoot watching the sun go down, chatting, and hanging out with this sweet couple!
