This Inspiration shoot at this Downtown Denver Wedding Venue, Asterisk was a city wedding dream. Above all, the vendors came together and created the most beautiful modern & romantic wedding inspiration shoot. I loved this day and this space so much and I can’t wait to get back here and shoot again.

When I heard about this new wedding venue, Asterisk Denver opening up in Colorado, I knew I had to plan a shoot there. Asterisk has transformed this 1920s post office garage into a stunning modern venue in the heart of Denver. Asterisk is the perfect place for any wedding, elopement or event. This space has been beautifully renovated however they still preserved parts of its history and is now the perfect combination of old and new.

This Denver wedding venue is a gorgeous blank slate therefore, making it so easy to transform or customize for any event. With the decor and details, we turned this space into an urban and romantic dream wedding set up with the draped sheet floral backdrop and modern details and decor. Each detail was so intentional and thought through. Although it was simple, the simplicity brought elegance to this day and shoot.

The inspiration for this wedding shoot first started with this posh pair of white boots. Then, the team added the Aeryn and Larimar dress by Willowby by Watters. The wedding dresses added the perfect amount of sparkle and laidback glam to the whole feel and look. The first dress had a low v-neckline, open back and ribbon detailing which looked so effortless yet classic. I loved the sparkle detailing on the second dress and its whimsical and elegant feel with the cascading beading on the bust. Besides the wedding attire, the team also incorporated the most beautiful color palette of white, sienna terracotta, rustic red, and soft lavender.

The models, Jenna and Tom made this whole day so effortless and easy. In addition, their energy was so easy to feed off of, so into each other and just happy all day long. These two were so much fun and easy to work with and helped us achieve our vision. They matched this classy and modern look we were going for, and I was so excited to work with them.

We started the day shooting in front of the draped floral backdrop and white brick wall. It turned out beautiful in front of the black-trimmed windows. Next, we made our way to the streets for some city views and rooftop photos overlooking Downtown Denver. Then, we ran around the streets, crosswalks and danced on the rooftop of this venue. Lastly, we went down to the garage and got to shoot with the vintage getaway car.The vintage getaway car was adorned with cascading flowers and they looked amazing with the car’s red leather interior. Shooting with the vintage getaway had to be one of my favorite moments from this day! It created such a beautiful vignette that the team was proud to create together.

Overall, this modern and romantic wedding inspiration shoot at Asterisk Denver turned out to be more perfect than I imaged. All the incredible vendors collaborated to make this day possible and filled it with so much creativity and skill. I love what we created this day at this effortless urban wedding inspiration shoot and i am so grateful to work with all of these amazing vendors.
