When I had a spot in my calendar open up to take on some family sessions I immediately reached out to Meg and Marc. I was lucky enough to shoot with them a few years ago in Oregon. When I heard they were expecting I couldn’t wait to see them again and document this time in their lives. There is nothing more rewarding than to get to work with past couples again.
As a mom of two I know how fleeting this time is. From growing your little babe, to the newborn years and even now — time is just so precious. Meg and Marc welcomed me into their new home, which was beautifully decorated with light pouring in from every window. Meg wore the perfect dress from Nothing Fits But and I literally want to go order every dress off of their site now. The nursery was my dream nursery. Everything hand picked, some family heirlooms sent from Marc’s family who isn’t able to be there with them and now just waiting the arrival of their new babe.
I remember sitting in my girls’ nursery just waiting, praying and dreaming what life would be like when they finally made their entrance into the world. Motherhood is beautiful and I already know Meg and Marc are going to make the best parents.
Nora, their Frenchie, also made her appearance at the maternity shoot. She is going to be the best big sister to their babe!!
Finding the Perfect Location:
While I love finding a beautiful location to shoot families and maternity photos, I love it even more to just document this time in my couples life right where it is. The messy, the genuine memories, the home you bring your baby back to; forever hand stamped for my couples to look back on forever. These photos are close to my heart and such a gift to be a tiny part in Meg and Marc’s life.
